Do you have to be Irish to appreciate St. Patrick’s Day?
My Irish grandmother would say, ”No, notitall, notitall.”
Do all Irish grandmothers say “notitall” ? Anywho…
St. Patrick’s story shows how God can use one surrendered life to impact an entire culture with ripple effects for generations. In my book that’s cause for greening up for some celebration!
Washi tape added to candles for a splash o’green. Sticky scraps of decorative happiness.
Then I busted out the Belleek (stylin’ beside that pair of $8.25 Goodwill lamps)
and the bodhran (under the green pitcher),
and mossed up the McCoy.
Instant Irishification.
It was topped off by a pot of Lisa Leonard Designs silver, thanks to my little leprechauns & Mr. Hunky.

It’s almost green milk and shamrock pancakes day.
Do you have any Irishification in the works?

We don’t decorate for St. Patty’s Day but we do eat corned beef and cabbage or a reuben sandwich and of course a good minty dessert like grasshopper bars :)
Very pretty! I totally agree with you on the fake green and gold stuff.
Nice to meet you! I love your blog so far and will have to catch up reading your posts over the next few days & weeks. Blessings on you and your family!
